Where Are They Now?

Matt Beaudoin

Matt Beaudoin, 26, has been a part of the LaSalle Vipers family for six years. Most people will remember the LaSalle-born forward as a member of the team from 2008-2012. His accomplishments include being on the 2010 Sutherland Cup Championship team as well as becoming Captain in 2011. After finishing his time with the Vipers, he was able to play for the University of Windsor Lancers while he was going to school. In 2016 the Vipers were lucky enough to have Beaudoin back, this time as an Assistant Coach. Today, he continues to be a leading member of the Vipers coaching staff and is continuing his career as Project Manager with the company that owns the team, Cypher Systems Group.

Twenty-one-year-old Aaron Luchuk has an all-star career to date. The Kingston-born player was part of the LaSalle Vipers from 2012 until 2014. From there, he was drafted by the Vipers’ affiliate team, the Windsor Spitfires, where he became Captain in 2017. The same year, Luchuk led the Spitfires to a Memorial Cup championship victory. He currently plays centre for the Barrie Colts but has been drafted by the Ottawa Senators. We can’t wait to see him play next year in the NHL!

Bill Bowler

Many of you will remember Bill Bowler as the LaSalle Vipers General Manager and Head Coach from 2013-2017. However, Bowler, 43, has had a great career as a hockey player himself. He was the all-time leading scorer for the Windsor Spitfires from 1991-1995. He played centre for many teams before spending one season in the NHL with the Columbus Blue Jackets from 2000-2001. Today, Bowler has furthered his career with the Spitfires as the full-time Vice-President of Hockey Operations.

Chris Di Natale

Chris Di Natale was born and raised in Lakeshore. He is remembered as a forward who played for the LaSalle Vipers from 2008-2011 and then with the Vipers affiliate team, the Lakeshore Canadiens (then Belle River Canadiens) until 2013. Although he no longer plays for the team, he is still a very important member of the Vipers family. Di Natale, 26, is now the team’s Chiropractor and Performance Coach.
